Typography Design: Dyslexie font to help Dyslexics read better.

In our continuing quest for unearthing how Design can and will contribute to social good, here is something that is of so much value.

dyslexie is a font designed by Nederlands-based company, STUDIOSTUDIO to to make it easier for Dyslexics to read things better and reduce the effort it takes to read a text. This means, more time to do other things like shop on FUTURE NOTION. (just kidding)

If you have Dyslexia or know of someone who does, do recommend this font to help make their lives  a little better! 🙂

Here are some illustrations you can take for a test drive:

Rule#1 – Type Design is an important element to consider when you want to make a statement.

Type Design and High color contrast work in getting the message across.

But in case you’re wondering WHY FUTURE NOTION, here are the top 5 reasons why we rock:

1. We are a low-cost & economical way of launching your brand, selling your collection & publicizing your work. We want you to succeed.

2. We focus our resources on digital and social trends so that you can concentrate on what you do best – create, design and innovate. Leave the selling, marketing and tedious social strategies to us. Already working an online store? No worries, think of us as an additional sales channel to reach a global audience.

3. Expose your brand to a design-centric community. Our huge database is chock-full with architects, stylists, interior designers, media/PR professionals, retailers and design-savvy customers – take advantage of it!

4. We understand branding, more importantly, we understand how selling in a well-designed social store can contribute to the image of your brand. Thus, FUTURE NOTION will never misrepresent your brand’s image, because we too, have standards. We believe in winning by adding value, constantly innovating and looking to the future, NOT pushing for price reductions.  Did we mention we prefer to build a strong brand proposition over bargain basement prices and throwaway goods?

5. We truly believe in the value of Design to Solve, Simplify & Inspire.

Most of all, tell us what you need – we want to hear from customers, designers, educators, artists, writers, and your neighbors.

Have a happy Monday & hope to hear from all of you soon!
